Somsak gets five-year ban for falsifying assets statement
The Supreme Court Friday banned former Chart Thai Party deputy leader Somsak Prissanananthakul from politics for five years after found him guilty of declaring a false assets statement.
The Supreme Court’s Criminal Division for Holders of Political Office initially sentenced Somsak to six months in jail but suspended the jail term and put him on probation for five years.
