Tan is based in Bangkok and will report to Claude Harbonn, head of Investment Consulting South Asia.
According to the company, Tan has more than two decades of financial industry experience. He has an established track record as an investment consultant with in-depth experience and knowledge across multi-asset classes and solutions.
“In Thailand, Mr Tan will focus on accelerating the growth of our platform and client base. He will drive the advisory-led investment process, working with our investment planners to bring the best of Credit Suisse’s services to our clients,” the company added in a press release.
He rejoins Credit Suisse from SCB Julius Baer, where he was the head of Investment Advisory and Solutions. Before that, he spent almost six years at Credit Suisse as managing director, head of Singapore/Thailand Investment Consulting, where he led a team of investment consultants covering the Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia markets.
