New BSH washing machine can ‘eliminate 99.99% of bacteria'
BSH Home Appliances (Thailand) has introduced a new front-door washing machine with unique technology from Bosch ActiveOxygen, certified by Germany’s wfk, in which up to 99.99 per cent of bacteria and germs are effectively eliminated at low temperature (20 degrees Celsius) from even the most delicate fabrics, the company said.
The ActiveOxygen Refresh system in BSH’s latest washing machine, the WAW2874EU Series 8, eliminates clothing odours without the need for water, the firm added.
The washing machine, which can handle 9kg of clothing at a time, also features an EcoSilence Drive motor to reduce heat from the carbon brush, extending the machine’s life and saving up to 20 per cent of energy, the company said.
