State Railway of Thailand (SRT) plans to go ahead with land expropriation of 850 rai for the high-speed railway project to connect the country's three main airports, said Voravuth Mala, SRT's acting governor.

Now, SRT is awaiting a royal decree which will define areas of land for the expropriation. The project's environmental impact assessment is undergoing, he added.
