JD Sports comes to Thailand
JD Sports, a global retailer of sports fashion products, has announced its entry into the Thai market with the opening of its JD Sports flagship store at ICONSIAM. The store is scheduled to open November 9 with a wide range of marketing activities to celebrate its inauguration.
Executive chairman Peter Cowgill said the ICONSIAM store opening follows the company’s successes in Singapore and Malaysia. The dynamic Thai market attracted the company because of its status as one of the world’s most exciting destination that attracts visitors from around the world, “as well as the confidence that we have seen shown in the destination by so many other world-leading brands”, said Cowgill.
The JD Sports Flagship Store at ICONSIAM will occupy 990 square metres of space on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and offer footwear, apparel and accessories for men, women, “juniors”, children and infants.
