SCG launches logistics service
SCG Logistics has joined hands with SCG Express, rolling out new integrated solutions to foster the growth of SMEs in the digital age.
The “Fulfillment" services include comprehensive shipping, warehousing and packaging solutions for items of all sizes ranging from small packages like cosmetic products to large electronic appliances or furniture with full nationwide and China services.
The Fulfillment services aim to take about 15-20 per cent of the market share.
Paitoon Jiranantarat, managing director of SCG, said: “E-commerce has helped accelerate an increasing number of online retail SME merchants.
"Meanwhile, we found that plenty of sellers are facing business downsides and limitations due to several factors such as a lack of proper storage space, poor product quality control, a lack of streamlined packaging service and poor time management when delivering items.
"We will give online sellers more time to develop and expand their businesses as well as strengthening growth through the three-C concept: convenience, confidence and care."
Fulfilment plans to offer high value-added services for items that require specific needs such as installation at the job site for fridge and washing machine furniture as well as reverse logistics and export-import services between Thailand and China.
