Monetary policy rate remains at 1.5pc
The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting on Wednesday voted unanimously to maintain the policy rate at 1.50 per cent, said its secretary Jaturong Jantarangs.
One MPC member was unable to attend this meeting.
The committee assessed that the Thai economy had gained further traction and would achieve faster growth than the previous assessment, driven by growth in the external sector as well as a gradual recovery in domestic demand.
