AWN makes second payment for wireless spectrum
Advanced Wireless Network (AWN), one of the two 1800MHz licence holders, yesterday paid to the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission its second installment of Bt10.246 billion for its licence, plus VAT of Bt717.255 million.
AWN won the 1800MHz licence at auction in 2015 by bidding Bt40.986 billion.
The company is due to pay the final installment of Bt10.963 billion (including VAT) on December next year.
