CHAROEN Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation has provided 10 million pesos (Bt7 million) as financial support to an agricultural development project under President Rodrigo Duterte’s initiative aimed at strengthening competitiveness of the Philippines’ farm sector for sustainability.

Sakol Cheewakoset, vice chairman of CPF Philippines, said the company recently delivered the financial support to Emmanuel Pinol, secretary of the Department of Agriculture in Manila.
The fund will not only focus on farm-sector development but will also rely on CPF’s “Three Benefits Philosophy”, the beneficiaries being the country CPF has invested in, its people, and finally the company’s business growth.
