The casual footwear producer this year is extending the programme to cover Thailand, one of the countries in which it is doing business.
The “One Like for Kids” is the first local project of its kind initiated by Crocs based on the concept of Crocs Cares. This project involves donating shoes to students at Christian Suksa School in Sangklaburi’s Kanchanaburi province, who suffer from shortage of proper footwear. Along with a donation of 100 pairs of shoes and stationery, Crocs will be hosting a day of recreational activities including shoe painting, ice cream decoration as well as a nutritional lunch.
Joining the event can be done by first “liking” the official Facebook page of Crocs Thailand. Then post a photo of kids with a short message on “Why kids deserve good shoes”. Every photo posted will be counted as one pair of shoes that Crocs will donate (maximum of 100 pairs). Ten participants whose posts receive the most number of likes will be invited to join the activities at Christian Suksa School. For more information visit www.facebook.com/crocs_thailand.
