Parnpree appointed PTT chairman

PTT's board of directors today appointed Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, a veteran member of Pheu Thai Party, as the new chairman.

He will succeed Vichet Kasemthongsri who resigned to become the new minister for natural resources and environment. 
In 2005, he was appointed a Thai Trade Representative in the Thaksin administration. During 2008-2010, he was a deputy leader of Pheu Thai Party. 
Parnpree, 56, graduated from Chulalongkorn University with a law degree, before getting a master in public administration from Southern California Univeristy and a doctoral degree in public management from Claremont Graduate University.
