Bank of Ayudhya has joined hands with Sri Ayudhya General Insurance Plc to offer a free personal accident policy (PA) with the coverage of up to Bt100,000, for the coming Songkran Festival.

It's the second year of the bank's "Krungsri Care About You" campaign.

Dan Harsono, chief marketing officer of Bank of Ayudhya, said that in this year, 60,000 insurance policies are available for customers and the general public.

Customers of the bank and its subsidiaries can register for the insurance at any bank branch across the country between March 26 and April 22. Those who are registered will be insured 24 hours. In case of death, loss of organs, loss of eyesight, or permanent disability resulting from any accidents, the insured person will receive a benefit of as high as Bt100,000. The policy will mature 30 days after the registration date.

During April 12 and 13, the bank will also open two Krungsri Care spots to provide preliminary car checks at Bang Pa-in (Km 11) and Wang Noi (Km 76). The centres will have mobile washrooms, rest areas and massage services available from 9.30am to 4pm.
