Ex-EGAT official appointed EGCO's new president

EGCO Group, the first independent power producer in Thailand, has welcomed Sahust Pratuknukul as its new president.


 Taking over the position on Oct 3, Sahust succeeds Vinit Tangnoi.
 In a company's statement, Sahust will focus his job on overseeing the corporate goals and formulating the strategic plan and investment encompassing power business and related energy services business which will bring EGCO Group to grow with the most profit for all stakeholders under the vision of Energy for Life.
 Prior to his present appointment of EGCO Group President, Sahust was a deputy governor of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), in charge of policy and planning. He has over 30 years of experience in the power industry.
 He graduated with bachelor degree in electrical engineering from Chulalongkorn University.
