Fighting rages near the Muse 105-mile border trade zone, causing casualties

Fighting is continued inside the 105-mile Myanmar-China border trade zone located at Mongyu Village, Muse Township, Muse District, northern Shan State, damaging some houses and causing civilian casualties, and more than a thousand people have fled the war, sources said.

In addition, the high school, buildings in the 105-mile trade zone, the 105-mile fire station and some houses were damaged and at least 14 civilians were injured.

Since the night of November 26, the fighting between the Tatmadaw and the Northern Alliance forces has been going on in the 105-mile zone.

As a result of this fight, a seven-year-old boy who was hit by a bomb that exploded in the Namthu dairy farm in Muse on November 27 died in the early morning of November 28 at the Muse Public Hospital.

Similarly, on November 28, a lorry driver was shot near the Aung Mingalar guesthouse and died of a bullet wound to the left chest.
