Phuket imposes night curfew from today
Phuket province has requested cooperation from residents to refrain from leaving their homes or their residential areas from 10pm to 4am the next day.
The order, approved by yhe Phuket Communicable Disease Committee, comes into effect from Tuesday until further changes.
There will be checkpoints to advise and warn those who violate and do not cooperate in helping prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
As the number of Covid-19 cases is currently going up in Phuket, the situation has become worrisome. Phuket added 25 new patients on Monday, taking the cumulative total to 463 of whom 246 have already recovered.
