Three hurt in Pattaya crane collapse

Employees of construction firm Rungrueng Architect (2005) were on Friday (March 27) repairing six houses in Pattaya damaged that morning in a crane collapse.

Three people were injured when the crane Rungrueng was using to erect a new hotel, the Mandarin Eastville, reportedly snapped at the base and tumbled onto the homes.
Pattaya Deputy Mayor Pattana Boonswat visited the scene in the afternoon along with other officials.
“The company has admitted its guilt and will pay compensation for the injured and the damage,” he said.
