The Ministry of Transport's source mentioned that the Working Group for Immediate Solution to the Problem of Access Road to "Ashton Asoke" has held two meetings, signalling progress towards a resolution without dismantling the building.

On April 6, 2024, the reporter provided an update on the progress of the solution to the access road problem for the "Ashton Asoke Sukhumvit 21 Project." The Ministry of Transport intervened after receiving complaints from 668 condominium unit owners who acquired ownership since 2018, indicating positive developments aligning with the Immovable Property Expropriation Act.

According to the Ministry of Transport's source, Surapong Piyachote, the Assistant Minister of Transport, oversees the coordination among rail and road system agencies, including the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), to address the access road issue for "Ashton Asoke Sukhumvit 21 Project" or "Ashton Asoke."

On October 24, 2023, Surapong issued an order to establish the "Working Group for Immediate Solution and Reduction of Impacts on the General Public; Case: Ashton Asoke," with Sorapong Paitoon as the Head of the Working Group. The group's mission includes proposing solutions for those affected by MRTA's use of the area and mitigating impacts.

In an interview in October 2023, Surapong expressed confidence in finding a satisfactory resolution for all stakeholders, including the public, MRTA, and entrepreneurs. He emphasized the importance of instilling confidence in residents, investors, and entrepreneurs.

Recent meetings of the Working Group have focused on problem-solving guidelines, with MRTA legalizing applications under the Immovable Property Expropriation Act without dismantling the building. The progress is expected to continue with formal meetings in April.
